Hi, first I'd like to say that I LOVE this script and awesome work!
Secondly, I have a question…
Using the same PHP code to "Pass variables to SVC", I'd like just a simple php form asking for the manual input of the desired Username... Is this possible, or can it be more simple than that? If my users can simply enter the Username they want to use, then continue to view others and have it show the name they input, that would be awesome!
I have enough knowledge to create/copy & paste & customize of a php form, but have no idea how to make it communicate with SVC. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me for the website address for testing purposes. Thank you!
You can ignore any detail that seems not to have any function. There may be some deprecated and/or upcoming features that are present in the code. I will take a look at this particular POST and get back.
Take a look at your config.xml (load it into a browser) and you will see the user-configured URLs to registration and configuration. If you try to access those URLs via your browser, an Internal Server Error is displayed:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, firstname.lastname@example.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
this is a server issue, it could also be a misconfiguration in your .htaccess file, check your logs or consult with server admin
Here is the detailed description on how to install SVC-SR: http://www.videosoftware.pro/forum/THREAD-Installing-and-configuring-SVC-SR-video-chat refer to "Local connection" under TROUBLESHOOTING to solve the problem with connecting to other databases.
It should work with 0.71 since the final draw libraries are included, they were not released until tested but they are there… 0.8 should be released in a few days, probably this new layout will be included as well:
