You can not, this would mess up the connection when trying to connect to a known user name. On the other hand, you may have a point here, let us include this in the next release.

This is hard to guess at this point. Version 5.0 is almost done, that needs some testing before we pull up the list for 5.1. It depends on the feedback we get back after releasing 5.0. Based on previous experience, somewhere around two weeks, up to 30 days.
